Home or favorite faire
South Dakota, Siouxland Renaissance Faire, My home show was MRF... and way back in the early 80's TRF was my home show ... I have fun at all the shows I entertain at!
I am not good at writing about myself, but here it goes!
I have been entertaining audience since I was a child, taught myself how to play guitar at 13, and have been a professional at Renaissance Festivals, fairs, corporate events, and privet parties since 1980 with my Splendid Mezzo Soprano voice and 12-string guitar as the Bawdy world music folk Balladeer and stage act known as Mistress Bawd...
And have met many people in my travels that have become long time listeners of my music, and a few of them have become lifelong friends.
It doesn’t matter the event you are having, whether I entertain you as Susan Kay with my favorite songs, or give you the zany Renaissance woman AKA my persona Mistress Bawd, I am the entertainer for your event.
Funny, I can't even count the weddings I have sung at, as I have lost count!
I have a wide variety of music and talent and am looking at signing with a NEW record label soon and am excited to record my third album, but this time not as Mistress Bawd, but as myself! It will be full of my originals and a few covers of my favorite songs..
I am also building a theater troop, and am scouting for an old fashioned theater, and entertainers with a flare for being outside the norm...
I am sure to get a laugh out of the crowd with my music, sense of humor, and audience participation as people are encouraged to sing along, and at times are called onto the stage to help out on a song. Or to lead in a toast!

Mistress, I have no current news on a memorial service for Joe (Thomas Snot). He was a good man who loved life and lived it to its fullest. You may want to keep checking their website, because I'm sure Mark (Ralph Puke) will post funeral information.
Mistress Bawd, this is Rose. We met at the Labor Day Amana Faire, 2006. Just now getting around to finding everyone on here. Sent you a friend request. See you at the faire, hopefully!
Hello there! Sorry for the late response, but thank you very much for adding me to your friends here. Feel free to stop by and say hello sometime. I look forward to talking with you.
